We want you to have a great time at your party or event but there are some things you and your guests need to be aware of to ensure that the occasion meets the responsibilities we and the venue have when alcohol is being served.

Whether the venue is licensed or we are operating under a temporary event notice NORMAL LICENISING LAWS STILL APPLY this means:

  • It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone who is under the age of 18. We will ask for I.D. from anyone who appears to be under the age of 21.
  • It is an offence to buy alcohol for anyone under the age of 18, again we do check and will confiscate alcohol and inform the venue of such practices.
  • It is an offence for us to sell alcohol to anyone who is drunk, please know your limits by drinking responsibly and help us by making us aware of any problems relating to this subject.
  • Violent and or anti-social behavior whether amongst guests and or against members of staff related to the venue or Bars on the Run will not be tolerated, such behavior will result in immediate notification of the police and the bar will be closed immediately with loss of 100% of deposits.
  • We operate a zero tolerance policy towards the use of drugs at any venue whether it is licensed or operating under a Temporary Event Notice, anyone found or suspected to be using drugs at venues where we operate will be reported to the police and the bar closed immediately with loss of 100% of deposits.
  • Do not drink and drive, we try to have taxi numbers for most areas to give guests at the end of each evening, alternatively the venue and we can offer help in arranging a coach or minibus for you and your guests.
  • When leaving any venue, please do so in an orderly manner upsetting the neighbours can have serious consequences on you and jeopardise future events at the venue.
  • If there is an outside area being used at the venue please make us aware and we will make plastic glasses available to be used in these areas.
  • Bringing your own alcohol to the venue once a bar is in operation is not allowed unless terms have been agreed before the event. Any alcohol not supplied by Bars on the Run will be charged at the following corkage rates :

    Cans / Bottles : £1.00 each
    Wine / Champagne : £5.00 per bottle
    Spirits : £20.00 per bottle
